What you'll be doing:

  • Reporting to and supporting the founders, the Marketing Director will play pivotal role in developing and executing the company’s strategy and achieving our goals; we see them as the missing piece of the puzzle to accelerate growth and create an epic coffee company.
  • This is a career defining role with huge autonomy to create a loved brand, define a company and disrupt a category.
  • Key member of leadership team. Represent the consumer, brand and market
    • Create company strategy with founders
    • Set objectives for the company and team
  • Create a loved consumer brand and ensure people know about it
  • Lead marketing strategy (brand, product, communications, promotions) to deliver growth and drive RoS
    • Define brand positioning and be the brand guardian
    • Ensure positioning brought to life across every element of the company and our activities
    • Set budgets for all marketing activities and deliver ROI on all spend
    • Develop and deliver marketing campaigns across the business (ATL, digital/social, events, partnerships)
    • Select agencies and lead cross agency team as required (creative, media, PR, digital)
    • Be the expert in consumer & competitors
    • Take a rigorous test and learn approach to optimise marketing
    • Lead product development within Pods – ensure we have the right product, ranges and SKUs
    • Work closely with innovation director to enter new markets
  • Inspire, Lead and develop the marketing team
    • Manage brand manager & consumer services
    • Shape the team as needed
    • Lead PR & Design whether in house or external
  • Work closely with head of ecommerce to step change scale of that channel and move international.
    • Create & execute digital, data led strategy for consumer acquisition
  • Work closely with sales director to maximise grocery performance and growth
    • Brand and trade marketing that enables distribution and RoS growth
    • Position us as the category expert and build strong long term relationships
