What you'll be doing:

  • We are looking for a Head of Product Management/Product Director to help us accelerate our growth through greater investment in product, specifically in 3 areas: Growth – how we acquire and onboard customers; Customer – the core customer value proposition we deliver to our customers; Infrastructure – the tools and infrastructure we need to operate efficiently.
  • Product vision & strategy -Work with business stakeholders and product managers to create a product vision and strategy to deliver on the overall business strategy. Specifically, identify “big impact” opportunities where product management can help us accelerate our growth
  • Organisational structure-Identify the product groups/squads we need to deliver on the company strategy and capitalise on the opportunities we have.
  • People  -Hire and build out a team of product managers capable of delivering the business strategy
  • Coach, guide and develop our product management team to deliver achieve our business goals
  • Define & manage OKRs & development goals for the team
  • Communication and evangelism – Being the visible face of product management within the company. Evangelising the vision, the model, the process and the results
  • Best practice & process – Develop and hone the rule book for how we should do product management – our principles, processes and behaviours.
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities within groups & squads

What's to love:

You’ll join our newly established Product Management function at the centre of our 5 year strategy. Reporting to the Global Customer Director, the Product Management team are responsible for the development of core product capability globally. The team has a remit to grow and invest significantly in product management capability over the next 5 years.

What they'll love:

  • 7-10 yrs of product management experience
  • Proven product leader – you’ll have built and led and lead multiple product managers and multiple tribes/squads
  • Proven track record of building and developing digital products used by hundreds and thousands of people
  • Strong leader – great communicator. Able to communicate vision and direction globally.
  • Self starter – autonomous, able to stand on your own feet within a global organisation
  • Proper product “geek” – you live in the world of tribes, scrums, discovery, rapid prototyping, design sprints, spikes, MVPs etc
  • Strong, smart, logical problem solver yourself….but you’ll also enjoy developing people and processes as much as solving problems.
  • You’ll know how to create an environment in which people and teams have the ability to solve problems fast and autonomous.
